A bit about me.

I have had a passion and enthusiasm for event planning and coordination since elementary school. I kid you not. Getting Oriental Trading Company magazines in the mail was so exciting for me; I would plan hypothetical events from harvest festivals to extreme birthday parties. 

When I was a junior in high school, I had the privilege of being my older sister's maid of honor. I loved every second of planning and preparing with her. On the day of her wedding, she was out in her full hair, makeup, & dress, making sure the details were perfect. Though I loved her commitment to detail, I realized that brides (and grooms, of course) should not be burdened by planning or coordinating stress on their big day! 

During my junior year of college, I started Down the Aisle Events in Spokane, Washington to provide local, affordable, and personal wedding services. Weddings have taken the forefront of my event focus over the last few years, but my love for all types of events persists. 

The stress that comes with event planning is like no other and somehow, I love it! I love learning about each client, their specific vision and needs, and helping to make their wedding or event dreams a reality. I cannot wait to meet you!
